Zimbabwe enjoys one of the highest literacy rates in the world. That comes from a deliberate focus on creating access to basic education for all. No community feels complete without a basic education facility of some sort. Even in the most trying circumstances, someone makes a plan.
We openly admit as TNZA staff, that providing QS and Project Management services for the construction 17 schools in some of the most disadvantaged communities in the country was the most emotionally rewarding labour ever for us. We felt a direct connection to the thousands of learners and staff whose education experience immediately changed with the modern facilities.
